Chris has been a senior consultant within Plan A since 2011, and is also a senior management team member who takes responsibility for the company's IT systems. Over his time with Plan A, Chris has written and managed hundreds of tenders ranging from bids for small 'Mom and Pop' infrastructure maintenance companies to massive government tenders. He's worked in sectors ranging from IT to engineering to professional services, to telecommunications, and many others besides.
For 25 years before joining Plan A, Chris worked in IT consulting, delivering IT and communications strategy and programmes. Initially, this was for a global management consulting firm; and more recently for major US global hardware and software vendors.
Over this period, Chris worked with large customers in most industries – in Australia, Asia, Eastern Europe, the US, and more recently, back home in New Zealand.
Chris’s early background as a successful communications engineer, and later experience in IT consulting, gives him excellent analytical skills and knowledge. Since joining Plan A in 2011, Chris has proved his stamina along with outstanding abilities to capture strategic information in compelling bids and proposals.
Years of involvement with technology messages, for audiences ranging from field engineers to Boardroom, have given Chris a passion for document quality and simplicity. His quiet and cool manner sees him manage complex and demanding technology documentation projects with extremely challenging timelines – and his work delights Plan A customers every time.
